Why do we need a store policy ?
A store policy on any ecommerce website or application is crucial for several reasons. Firstly, it helps to build trust with your customers by providing clear guidelines on how you conduct business. To explore our website, you can utilize the menu situated at the top the page. Moreover, you have the to sort and filter the content to efficiently locate the information you require. 

 You can  also use the search functionality to look for a product on our website. Simply type in the name of the product you're looking for in the search bar and hit enter.

Prices listed on our website indicate the unit price of each item. However, for some products, we offer extra discounts for bulk purchases automatically calculated at the checkout 

Displayed clearance and sale prices are compared either to the lowest retail price of the same product sold by a competitor in the local market or to our most recent published price.

Sales tax

Sales tax is automatically calculated based on the selected shipping method :

  • If you select Self-pickup or local delivery, the sales tax will be calculated based on Ontario HST rate.

  • If you select a shipping method  with a third party carrier, then the tax will automatically be calculated based on your delivery address .

The following payment methods can be selected for orders placed on our site :

  • PayPal

  • Credit or debit Card

  • Cash

All transactions will be completed in Canadian funds. 

If you select a shipping method with a third party carrier,  then only PayPal or Credit / debit card payment will be offered as at the checkout. We do not offer cash for orders shipped via third party carriers

Our team at Lalinda aim to get your orders ready for pickup and delivery within 24 hours from the time we receive your order

The following are the available shipping methods you can choose during checkout :

Self- pickup : 

  • This method can be used for ALL physical products sold on our website 

  • Once an order is ready for pickup, you will receive a notification email 

  • Please note that you need to provide the correct phone number during checkout. We will contact you in order confirm the pickup date and time

  • We do not have a physical location and we sell online only. Therefore, the pickup location will be at our storage facility located at 6005 Erin Mills Parkway, Mississauga, ON L5N0G5

  • No additional fees will be added to your cart when you select the self-pickup method

  • In the event you cannot pick up your order on the confirmed date and time, we encourage you to contact us in advance. Orders not picked up within 48 hours from the agreed time will automatically be cancelled.

Local delivery: 

  • This method can be used for ALL physical products sold on our website for orders with a minimum of $10

  • Once an order is processed and ready to be delivered, you will receive a notification email 

  • Please note that you need to provide the correct phone number during checkout. We will contact you in order confirm the delivery date and time

  • Delivery can be done 7 days a week, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM

  • At this time, we can deliver addresses located within selected areas only. Please enter your postal code during checkout to determine if delivery is offered for your location

  • Delivery fees might be added to your total cart calculated after all discounts :

    • No delivery is offered for orders below $10 (before taxes)

    • For orders between 10 and   $49.99​, a delivery fee o $6.95 will be added to the subtotal

    • For orders between $50 and $99.99, a delivery fee of $3.95 will be added to the subtotal

    • No delivery fees for orders above $100

Shipping : 

  • Due to the nature of the products sold on our website , this method is NOT  offered for all products.

  • Please refer to the product description page in order to determine if a product can be shipped or not.

  • Once you select this option, you will be requested to enter your address and select a carrier 

  • Shipping fess will automatically be calculated based soon the selected carrier and deliver address

  • Estimated delivery date is automatically calculated by the carrier based on the delivery address and selected shipping method

  • Please note that shipping via a third party carrier is limited to addresses located in Canada

Please note that if you have selected shipping by a third party carrier and your order includes some products that cannot be shipped, then :

  • Products that can be shipped will be delivered by the selected third party carrier

  • We will contact you to  discuss other shipping methods (delivery or self-pickup) of products that cannot be shipped by third party carriers

Cancellation, returns & exchange

Cancellations

Hit the Submit Order button before you're ready?  We’ll do our best to help.

Orders can be cancelled within the 2  hours you  from the time you click Submit. To Cancel an order, you can contact us, or use the chat functionality at the bottom of the page to send us a message at any time. Please check your email for the order confirmation email, you will need to provide the order number you want us to cancel.

If your order has been paid online though PayPal and cancelled, then a you will get your money refunded by PayPal.

Exchanges

The following items are final sale and NOT eligible for returns or exchange :

Hair tools can be returned or exchanged within 2 weeks from purchase at the condition that :

  • They are found defective

  • They have not been intentionally or unintentionally damaged

  • They are in their original packaging

Other products not listed above are eligible for exchange ONLY within 2 weeks from purchase, at condition that : 

  • They have not been used or damaged

  • They are in their original packaging

Refunds

  • If a product is returned, we will either refund you the amount already paid orsend you a discount coupon that you can use during your next purchase  on our website.  

  • Local delivery fees and third party shipping fees are not refundable 

Returns and exchange

Order tracking

Once you place an order, you will receive an email notification once :

  • We receive the order

  • The order is ready for pickup

  • The order is out for delivery

  • The order is delivered or picked up

  • The order is Cancelled

Alternatively, you can track your order by :

  • Login into your membership area

  • Go to any of the store pages

  • Scroll down and click on "track order"
